Decals are a customization option in Rocket League. Each vehicle has its own set of decals that can be unlocked in various ways. Decals record the number of saves performed while equipped.

Typically, decals are obtained from crates, through trade-ins, and through player trading. They can also be bundled with DLC packs or featured in the Rocket Pass.

Uncommon[]

Decals listed here must be unlocked by Opening Drops or by Opening Tournament Cups.

Common[]

Very Rare[]

Decals listed here can only be found in Blueprints and Drops.

Note: The Distortion and Dot Matrix decals prevent the player from choosing a secondary color; the accent color is exclusively black.

Esports Shop[]

These decals can only be purchased in the Esports Shop for 300 Tokens each. The decals are available for the Octane, Dominus, and Fennec bodies. In Patch v1.88, the Esports Shop was revamped with a new interface and some different items.

Current Rotation[]

The revamped Esports Shop after Patch v1.88 is divided into North America and Europe teams. On February 1, 2021, Fennec decals were released for all available teams.[1]

Europe

Old Rotation[]

Import[]

Decals listed here are classified as Import quality. Decals listed here may only be found from Blueprints and Item Shop.

X Games[]

The following decal was available in the Item Shop for a limited time between January 21-24, 2021 and January 28-31, 2021. Although its price was Credits icon (transparent)100 at first, it was changed to Credits icon (transparent)300 shortly after the release. Psyonix stated that the initial pricing was an error.[2]

Exotic[]

Decals listed here can be found in accordable Blueprint Series

Black Market[]

Decals listed here have a very low chance (1%) of being found in crates. These decals are unique in that they were once shown in crate previews as an Octane Battle-Car partially covered by purple hexagon-patterned fabric. These decals were dubbed "Mystery Universal Decal" in the previews, which means that these decals are applicable to all Battle-Cars. As of Patch v1.41, they can be previewed normally and are no longer dubbed "Mystery Universal Decal" .

Notes
  • The Biomass and Labyrinth decals prevent the player from choosing a secondary paint color; the accent color is always black.
  • The Hex-Tide, Mainframe and Wet paint decals can be painted.
  • Since December 4, 2019, Trigon and 20XX can now be painted.
